We all pretend.
When we’re children, it’s fun. As teenagers, we want to fit in. Once we reach adulthood, we pretend to get along, go along with the program and not make waves.
One of the most difficult times we pretend is in relationships. We pretend everything’s fine, it’s just a phase, we’ll get through this. Only we don’t.
In this twenty-six-year-old treasure from Bonnie Raitt, the relationship is over. She wants one last night with him… with no more pretending.

IKR? Lve this song! There are quite a few decent covers, but the original stands alone as the best.
