Pushing the door open to the master suite, Saph shoved her forward with a swat on her ass. “Get undressed. Now.”
“When you say ‘like us’?”
“The correct answer was ‘Yes, Sir’ followed by the shedding of clothing,” he stated, closing the door and stalking toward her in that confident, predatory way. “Would you like to try again?”
“Yes, Sir,” she exhaled breathlessly, hating how weak her knees felt just from that simple reprimand.
Kicking her shoes off, she unbuttoned and removed her jacket to drape it over the chaise. She was about to lift the silk camisole over her head when her phone rang. Digging it out of her coat pocket, she saw it was Zoe. Probably wondering if she’d made it back to New York yet. Kami set it aside, letting it ring. She could call her bestie back when Saph was finished with whatever he had planned.
“Who is it?”
“Zoe,” she answered. “I can call her back.”
Lifting the tank over her head, she tossed it in the direction of where-the-fuck-ever, which had Saphiel arching a brow. She’d already gotten into trouble once for just flinging clothing. They both knew that now she was just asking for it. When her phone started ringing again and Kami saw it was still Zoe calling, her stomach pitched.
“Something’s wrong,” she muttered as she snatched it up and answered it. “Zo?”
“Oh my God, Kam, someone broke in,” Zoe rushed out in a thick, liquid voice indicating she was crying. “They took everything! My laptop, the TV—who the fuck would want our TV?—and your room is completely trashed.”
