With Stacy, every book is an adventure. She took a few minutes out of her hectic schedule to tell us something about herself.

Where are you from?
I’m from, and reside in Houston, Texas.

When and why did you begin writing?
I began writing professionally twenty years ago when I was nineteen. I got the writing bug and fell in love with the craft. I always loved reading and had a great imagination so writing fit me. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else.

What inspired you to write your first book?
The same thing that has inspired me to write all my books. I get an interesting idea in my head, and I begin writing. It always starts with an idea for me.

What are your current projects?
I’m always working on something. I am finishing up Twisted, which is the final book in the Bruised Romantic Suspense series. I have some other books I plan to release, but I like to keep my upcoming books a secret until it gets close to publication. *smiles*

Who designed the covers?
Now that I am self-publishing, I design my own covers, and it’s one of my favorite parts of the process.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?
The hardest part is always the beginning. I outline but the beginning is difficult because I’m just getting to know the characters myself. Once I am familiar with them then the writing really takes off and I get into my groove. It’s like that with all my books unless I am doing a continuation of a series. The thing about Dead Weight is I originally wrote this probably back in early 2000s and it’s finally getting released. It’s one of my favorite stories so I’m glad it’s making its debut even though it took a long time. LOL!

Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
I want to say I appreciate all the support you’ve shown me, and I hope you continue to enjoy my work!

Many thanks to Stacy to spending a few minutes with us. Her next book, Dead Weight (BWWM Romance), releases on June 28th and is available for #Preorder for only #99cents! Grab your copy TODAY – the price goes up on release day!
